Soloviev's critique of individualism and the specter of Hegel
Abstract:
The article analyzes the problem of the relationship between personality and society in the philosophy of Vl. Solovyov. The purpose of the study is to show how Vl. Solovyov, being an anti-individualist thinker, overcomes the opposition of “holism” and individualism. The article considers the “organic” relationship between personality and society in the philosophy of Vl. Solovyov, according to which society should be thought of as a complete or expanded personality, and personality as a limited or concentrated society. The question is raised about the extent to which the Solovyov inherits Hegelian thought in his concept of the relationship between personality and society.
